Why Did I Choose This Path?

For 17 years, I’ve supported people through the journey of marriage — offering guidance to over 5,000 individuals.
And somewhere along the way, I began to feel something wasn’t quite right.

I noticed that many people seemed to be suffering through the process. Finding love should be joyful and exciting — but instead, so many treated it like an obligation, burdened and weary.

The reason was clear: Most weren’t truly doing it for themselves.
They were acting based on societal expectations or pressure from those around them — without truly knowing what they wanted, or even who they were.

I saw so many people unable to love themselves.
And if you can’t love yourself, how can you truly love someone else? If you don’t accept yourself, you tend to expect too much from others.
You can’t trust, you can’t surrender — you end up clinging instead.

I know, because I’ve been there too. Looking back over my 69 years of life, there were long stretches where I was trapped in others’ values, crushed by “what I should be.” There were times I genuinely thought of myself as worthless — like a bag of garbage (I laugh about it now). I had no confidence. No matter what I did, my heart remained empty.

Then came the turning points — trials that forced me to face myself. Leaving university and moving to Tokyo to pursue acting. Later, launching a business in Takamatsu against my mother’s strong objections. Surviving economic crashes like the bubble burst and Lehman shock — times when I thought it was all over.

But each of these hardships was also a gift — a mirror that made me look inward. In the tension between life and death, I had to ask: "What do I truly want to do with my life?" And when that answer came from deep within, my life began to move again.

Once I began to act from that place — from my core — things shifted. Unexpected opportunities appeared. The right people arrived at the perfect moments, as if drawn to me.

The truth I found is this:
It all begins by meeting yourself — just as you are.

Inside you lies a one-of-a-kind diamond you haven’t yet noticed. And when that diamond awakens, your life — and your relationships — will transform in the most surprising ways.

Helping others find that brilliance within — that is now my life’s purpose.
